Jalan-jalan Cari Makan

After the New Year celebration, all of us went home and get a proper rest. This is becoz we need to get prepare for the next plan !

On the 3rd January, we went to Teluk Intan, Perak. Wee!!!!
Jenna, who is fromTeluk Intan is our super gud tour guide. She told us that there is ntg much to do there, except EAT, EAT and EAT!

Rite after we arrived, the EAT events start !

Asam Laksa

Mee Rebus

Look at Daphnie enjoying her asam laksa and Jenna happy face :D
Next stop will be the famous Rojak stall.

The Fruit Rojak

Dapnie, Jenna, Esther and Wen Xin at the Rojak stall
Then, continue...

Char Kuey Teow

Another bowl of Asam Laksa from different stall

Ar! This is my favourite..The Curry Chee Cheong Fun. This is something very different and u can't find it in KL or Sabah. Nicey!

The Lala Chen (fried lala). I agreed with Daphnie who said it tasted like Plastic !
so,it's a thumb's down :(

The red bean soup to go with it too

Before we go back to Jenna's house, we stopped by at an old shop to buy tis !

clockwise from top : Pineapple tart, Egg tart, and Pandan Tart.

Me loves all of it so much!
After we rest for a while, chit chatting with Jenna's mother who is so friendly and took our bath. Off we went out again for dinner.

Another type of Chee Cheong Fun. Which is almost like the 1 we had in the evening. Just without the Curry gravy. And we eat it together with the green cili. Super Nicey! Me loves it!

Curry Bihun

ABC with kidney beans ! Nicey :D
After dinner,

Chilling out at Al Fresco.

Esther and Jenna
The food hunting is not over yet. We went to eat Fried Lou Shu Fun and grill fish for supper.
AND the 'event' continue at 5.30am the next morning! Here's the prove !

Look at all those sleepy faces. Haha...
The sky is still dark too.

Thanks to my dearest Mr Orange who can take 2 pics (one with flash and another 1 without) with just 1 snap. I got another clearer pic to prove it !

Believe it now ! Haha

This is what we woke up so early for...

The glutinous rice served with barbeque pork (Char Siew) or Prawn with Curry Gravy!
This is something that i never try or see before. The stall is already full with ppl when we arrived. Tat's y we had be early. Nicey!
And this is what we had for lunch,

The stewed Chicken Feet and Mushroom. Very tasty !

Kon Lo Kuay Teow to go with it.

Then, we went to Jalan-jalan di sekitar Bandar Teluk Intan. And we saw this building.

According to Jenna's father, it is an old court which is going to be a museum soon.
Hmm...

And we visited the Menara Condong, Teluk Intan too!

An establish shot of the tower

A closer shot

Can see the 'Kecondongan' in this pic ? *wink*

Inside the tower

The view from the highest level

The best pic taken in the tower. I like this pic a lot !
So after that, we went back to pack our bags and yes, we bought home some Pau. We had it with Tau Fu Fah.
Then, we left Jenna's house and headed back to PJ.

A pic with Jenna's mother (in purple shirt)
U r wrong if you think that the food hunting is over!
We had this on the way back.

Wan tan (minced pork and prawn) and Kon Lo Mee.
This is really delicious !

AGAIN! It haven finish yet !

Coz i brought home this 'Heong Peng' to enjoy with my housemates. It is so fresh and nice!
Tat's all from Teluk Intan. A big Thank You to Jenna and her family for having us.
